Compared to regular lab glass (or soda lime glass,) hybex is most desirable due to its low coefficient of thermal expansion and subsequent high temperature resistance. hybex™ Erlenmeyer Flasks withstand temperatures ranging from -70 to 500°C, are breakage resistant, and possess a reinforced rim.
