Apex General Purpose agarose is a standard melting/gelling agarose suitable for a wide variety of nucleic acid and protein analytical and preparative applications using standard electrophoretic techniques. Purified DNA fragments maintain full biological activity and can be readily digested and ligated. This agarose offers excellent gel transparency along with exceptionally low absorption of staining agents. Lot to lot consistency ensures dependable, reproducible results.
