This slightly thicker grade provides a faster flow rate than Ahlstrom 601. Ahlstrom 631 is recommended for routine chromatography when loading is relatively low. Also suitable for routine quality control applications where high levels of resolution are not required and speed is important.
Thin papers are 100% pure cotton grades that are used in chromatography techniques where solute loading is not heavy. Ahlstrom thin series papers are ideal for general separations and for use as spacers in gel transfer techniques.
