High Fidelity PCR

For some applications such as cloning and site directed mutagenesis, or when preparing a template for sequencing, the number of mutations introduced during PCR needs to be kept to a minimum. The enhanced accuracy of HS VeriFi Polymerase gives extremely low error rates, making it ideal for such applications where superior accuracy is required.

VeriFi polymerase is a high fidelity enzyme derived from Pfu DNA polymerase for its 3’-5’ exonuclease (proofreading) activity. The versatile and robust proofreading enzyme is able to amplify longer and more difficult targets such as eukaryotic genomic templates up to 17.5kb, and longer for simpler DNA templates. Improved DNA binding and increased processivity give significant improvements in speed, yield and sensitivity while also increasing PCR success rates of long and challenging templates.
